2023 Fat Bike Series

Thanks to the Cloud City Wheelers, these unique and exciting races occur throughout the winter in and around Leadville. Utilizing groomed nordic ski trails, groomed singletrack, and snowmobile trails, these races are a great way to keep riding and racing during the off-season. Three of the races are even held at night!

A typical course is 15 miles with a mix of spine-tingling conditions. Cost is $20 per race.

All proceeds from the race series go towards Cloud City Wheelers advocacy efforts. These races always end with plenty of tasty food and beverages, laughter and dang good times. Come on up and enjoy the ride!

Febuary 4th - TP Night JAM  –  20TH ANNUAL!!! Tennessee Pass Night Jam

Bring your lights to Tennessee Pass Nordic Center for a fast race through the trees at Ski Cooper

4pm Register/Check In @ Tennessee Pass Nordic Center, Race starts @ 6pm

March 4th - Mineral Belt Mayhem

An 11 mile loop on Leadville’s beautiful Mineral Belt Trail and some singletrack to boot at Night! Start and finish on Harrison Ave. during Leadville’s Crystal Carnival Weekend.

4pm Register/Check In @ Cycles of Life, 309 Harrison Ave., Race starts @ 6pm

March 18th - 3rd Annual FATTY PATTY 5OK

This will be the 2nd year of this exciting event with challenging climbs and exciting descents. Day time event. More info coming soon!

April 8th – East Side Epic

A tour of Leadville’s historic Mining District

8am Register/Check In @ Leadvelo. Race starts @ 10am @ 700 East 8th St.
